Great Fire of Warwick 1694 Talk and Walk
Wednesday 2 October SOLD OUT!
Meet at Market Hall Museum
10.30am – 12noon
Join Sue Rigby to discover the story of the 1694 Great Fire of Warwick.
Using information drawn from the archives of The Fire Court, we will uncover the stories of six people who were in Warwick on that fateful day. There will also be the opportunity to see a virtual version of the old town and the new augmented-reality model of Warwick, showing the spread of the fire.
This talk will start at Market Hall Museum before moving into the streets of the town to follow the route of the fire, ending back at the Museum. The walk will last about an hour, at a gentle pace.
Please note that once the walk has started, there will be no opportunity to sit down en route
Limited places available – please book in advance on 01926 33 44 18
