How little I understood the challenges that awaited me. Now my hair is grey, and joy means never seeing a skip again! But joy is also understanding we got there: now the Lord Leycester is positioned to offer visitors to our half-timbered treasure a visual and intellectual treat … and strong footfall means our survival into the future.’
